Diana Sinclair is an artist and creative entrepreneur working across visual art, music, fashion, and image-making. Rather than treating these as separate practices, Sinclair approaches them as different ways of constructing atmosphere, carrying memory, and examining how culture moves across generations.

Born in 2004 and based in the New York metropolitan area, Sinclair first became known for a visual art practice rooted in the Black Atlantic, working across photography, painting, and printmaking. Through cyanotype, archival imagery, and her own photographs, she explores water, spirituality, cultural memory, and the porous relationship between history and contemporary Black life. Drawing from Afrosurrealism and the Caribbean surrealist tradition, her work often collapses distinctions between document and apparition, the sacred and the everyday, the past and the present.

That same thinking extends into sound, fashion, and creative direction. As a DJ and producer, Sinclair approaches music as a form of environment-building, moving between house, techno, dub, jazz and diasporic rhythms through association rather than genre. In fashion, she is interested in clothing as a carrier of identity, reference, and cultural language — and in the ways an idea can move between an image, a garment, an object, a room, or an experience. She also consults with select brands on creative direction, cultural strategy, and the development of projects that move between image, product, and experience.

Across disciplines, Sinclair’s practice is ultimately one of world-building: assembling historical, spiritual, musical, and visual references into a contemporary language of her own.

Sinclair has been represented by United Talent Agency since 2022. She completed a year-long residency at the World Trade Center with Silver Art Projects in 2025. Her debut solo exhibition, Threaded Blue, was presented by Plato Gallery in New York, and her commissioned installation Reflections was presented at Rockefeller Center from 2023–2024.
